Nathalia Niño

Nathalia Niño is a systems dynamics modeller, specializing in sustainable development. Her work at IISD has focused on the application of the Sustainable Asset Valuation (SAVi) methodology, developing models and economic analysis for a variety of projects in sustainable transport and nature-based infrastructure (NBI).
Nathalia also works as a junior project manager at KnowlEdge Srl (KE), a consulting company, supporting clients in exploring socio-economic and environmental complexity to inform decision-making for sustainability. She has been involved in projects related to green economy, blue economy, sustainable transport and food security, in the context of climate mitigation and adaptation.
Prior to this, Nathalia worked in the knowledge management field, developing and leading training plans, and standardizing and documenting manufacturing processes.
Nathalia has an undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering from Icesi University, Colombia and holds a master's degree in System Dynamics from the University of Bergen, Norway.
Currently based in Colombia, Nathalia speaks Spanish and English.
